Olive Tree Family Resources was founded in October 2019 by Paula Falconer after she saw that community needs were not being met and families were in need of accessible resources.

Our Mission
Supporting, educating, and equipping families within our community.
To meet these needs, Olive Tree Family Resources provides families with a list of organizations for them to reach out to for assistance. In addition, we look for gaps in available resources and make it our goal to bring those missing resources to the community.
It is our belief that support and education allow those in need to become better citizens and bring more to the table of our community. If families are supported and equipped, the community benefits, especially the children. It is vital that the families and individuals we help know their worth and importance. We never give them anything less than the best of what we have to offer.
Paula Falconer
Founder & President
Paula has lived in Oskaloosa since 2007 and is an active volunteer in her community. She is a wife and mother of four children and one grandchild. Passionate about loving people, she and her husband have adopted children from her home country of Jamaica and now open their home to foster children.
Her heart for service began long before founding Olive Tree. She has served her community through AmeriCorps, Community Partnerships for Protecting Children, and as a diplomat for the Mahaska Chamber & Development Group.
Her relationships with the Oskaloosa business, church, and agency/non-profit communities, make her a strong advocate for families in need of community resources.
